New opportunities for women (NOW)
The NOW course is a strengths-based foundation course that is intended to provide women with the knowledge, skills and support to transition into further education or employment.
Specialised program that is delivered by the David Wirrpanda Foundation and is a fully accredited course facilitated by Central Institute of Technology. This program engages mothers in a social enterprise which gives them the skills necessary to gain employment, move onto further study and move towards maintaining their own economic and social livelihoods. The program is linked to the NOW Program.
Delivered in partnership with the David Wirrpanda Foundation, this program includes job search training and skills, literacy and numeracy support, wellbeing workshops and one-on-one mentoring.

The Creative Futures Program is a program to introduce students into the creative industries and giving them the
practical skills and knowledge needed for a vast range of careers in the creative field.
Cert II Retail Make-up
Throughout this course you will learn about workplace communication, client interaction, selling make-up and retail skin
care products and performing routine salon or store functions. If you have an interest in make-up and beauty
therapy and want to share your knowledge with others then this is the course for you.
Rap and Radio
Rap and Radio is an exciting new program exploring the music industry through the genre of hip-hop and the broadcasting world.
It is designed to engage young people in an action packed, one day a week program that focuses on ‘dynamic education through hip-hop communication’
