International student day trips
CISWA, the Council for International Students of WA runs excursions which are a fantastic opportunity to meet other students and learn a little about Perth.
Canoeing on the Swan River
Saturday 9th March
8.45 am- 1.00 pm (approximate)
Cost: $50 per person
(bookings close 28th Feb)
Maximum of 24 students only for this trip so get in quick!
Enjoy a 3.5 hr guided tour as you paddle your double kayak (canoe) down the beautiful Swan River in Guildford
Along the way enjoy spotting a variety of Australian birds, fantastic views of parks and vineyards & hear interesting historical stories of the area.
- Your guide is a very experienced kayaker from local WA business, Water Wanderers
- Before you set off you will be provided with basic technique instruction on how to paddle
- Your guide will take action photos during the trip
- There will be a break halfway for lunch so bring your own lunch & drinks
- Meeting point for the trip is the Guildford Train station (further details provided upon booking)
- Life jackets provided
- Trip is suitable for beginners however you MUST be able to swim
