Disability Workforce Training

Central delivers Certificate III and IV in Disability as employment based training. This means that as well as attending workshops, students are also trained and assessed in their workplace. Students must be employed in the Disability sector and are either on a traineeship, or are workplace students.  Training is competency based which means the student must demonstrate the knowledge and skills required to carry out work tasks to a standard that industry endorses.

Central supports workforce development strategies for the disability sector through the delivery of a range of nationally accredited programs in:

  • Disability Work
  • Home & Community Care
  • Aged Care
  • Leisure & Health
  • Enrolled Nursing
  • Management & Customised workshops
