Training your workforce

In order to keep up the pace and remain competitive it is essential to invest in advancing the skills of your workforce. You may acknowledge you have a training gap in your organisation - our consultants can assist by conducting training needs analysis and work with you to develop a workplace development or training plan.

View our range of training solutions from short courses to fully customised programs.

We also offer flexible delivery options to suit specific business needs and reflect the different learning styles of the students; some learners do better in an interactive (online) environment, some learn best on the job while online training can be invaluable for staff in remote or regional areas.

Funding options

The Australian Federal and State governments offer funding incentives for programs that provide training to address shortages and upskill employees. Central’s Business Development Unit can assist you to access the latest government funding initiatives to support your training needs. Our Consultants can also offer support with funding options.

 Work based options

Develop your team without leaving the workplace

We have discovered through practical contact with employers and employees that most skills development happens on the job.

Consider the following benefits to employers by using workbased learning.

  • Employees learn practical skills and knowledge through doing.
  • Increased productivity and flexible skills.
  • Employees are not required to go to classes unless there is a distinct lack of learning opportunities in the workplace - meaning little lost productivity.
  • Employers deal directly with our assessors who provide feedback on progress.
  • Assessors plan assessment visits to fit in with times that suit the workplace.
  • Federal Government incentives may be available to eligible trainees of up to $4000 plus payroll tax exemptions for self-same eligible trainees.
  • More satisfied employees who are supported by the employer.
  • A defined pathway to higher skills development for the trainee.
  • Nationally recognised qualification can be used to promote organisation.
