About the course

This 2 day workshop will provide you with the skills and knowledge required to provide on the job coaching to colleagues and reflects the situation in many community services workplaces where the ‘buddy’ system is common.  It will discuss the stages of a mentoring relationship and how to establish a relationship by offering support.  It will also assist you in identifying the need for coaching, how to coach a person in the workplace and how to follow up with that person.

• Knowledge in cultural issues in mentoring and coaching 
• Practical skills on how to have a difficult mentoring conversation
