The CUT Mine

Central's Cut Mine is a pioneering learning resource and the only facility of its kind in Western Australia.

The unique underground mine situated in the heart of 25 Aberdeen Street building takes training to a new level, providing students with 'real' hands on experience in underground mining.

In the simulated mining environment, students are trained in mine safety, geology and face mapping techniques.

The mine continues to develop as an excellent training, recruitment and induction facility that brings extensive savings and increased safety to the mining industry.
